A LOT of randomness

• It's Monday and I would give anything to go back to bed and sleep for a few more hours. I couldn't fall asleep last night, Reyna woke up at 3 and then 6. I finally got out of bed around 7:15. Did I mention I am on my second cup of coffee this fine Monday morning?!
• Reyna & I had a great weekend. My cousin, Kristin, came to visit Saturday-Sunday. She arrived around noon on Saturday. We picked up Wendy's and headed to my parents. Nana & Papa were kind enough to keep Reyna while Kristin and I went shopping for a little while. Afterwards, we had a delish dinner, headed back to my house, put Reyna to bed and scrapped. I only finished one page, but oh well. It was still fun. Sunday, we woke up, headed out for breakfast (I told myself I wasn't cooking all week.:)). We came home, laid Reyna down and scrapped some more. Kristin bought me a copy of The Ultimate Book of Kid Concoctions. It is a really neat book. If you are a mommy, teacher or whatever, I would definitely look into it. She also brought Reyna Touch and Feel Kitty and Tumble Bumble. Both of which Reyna adores right now. Kristin is so good to Reyna. She is lucky to have her as her God Mother. :)
• Jade left Friday night. He had to be in London, Canada at 5 am for a 7 am flight. From there, they flew into Calgary, then took a 10-12 hour car ride to their destination. I guess it was about 700 more to get another connecting flight from Calgary to Edminton and they said forget it. It has been weird without him here. Reyna has been walking around asking for him. I keep telling her he will be home soon, but I know she has no clue what I mean.
• I might be heading up north this weekend (to Ludington) but it's not for definite. I talked to Jade's mom last night about going up and I am not sure she wants to wait until Saturday morning to leave. I cannot take off Thursday or Friday from work and she mentioned she might want to leave during the week. So, I am not sure what's going on yet.
• What else? Hmm..Oh, Friday. Yeah, that's a whole other post. I was going to post on Friday, but by the end of my long day, I said forget it. You see, Reyna & I were supposed to head over to Jessica's house to visit. They just moved into a new home about 5 minutes down the road. Reyna was in quite the mood when she woke up. Plus, she was getting into everything. She learned how to press down the button on the water cool and let water run all over the kitchen floor. But, when she woke up, her left eye was watering. It wouldn't stop. I figured something was bothering her in the air. Did I mention she would not sleep? Okay, so we get to Jessicas and she is cranky. We take the kiddos for a walk and by that point, I decided to call the doc. I took her in and she has an eye infection. Great. Drops in her eyes for 6 days 4 times a day. How fun does that sound? So, I felt terrible by this point. I am sure her eyes were bothering her all day and I didn't do anything about it until the late afternoon. So, I was starting to feel bad. Needless to say, she is feeling better. She just hates it when I put the drops into her eyes. She closes them shut the minute she spots the drops.
• Last night, I went to my mom and dad's for dinner. My Aunt Sherry & Uncle Mike were there, too. My mom made quesadillas and they were to die for.

So, here I am. Monday morning and exhausted. I don't hear Reyna. I think she fell asleep. That doesn't sound like such a bad idea right now. :) )
